Piercings

How much does a piercing cost?

Pricing depends on the piercing placement and the jewellery you
choose. As we offer a range of jewellery, the pricing can vary. We offer a
free consultation to discuss options, placement, and pricing. For more accurate
quotes, please don't hesitate to come into store so we can help.

Is it normal to feel nervous before getting a piercing? Does it hurt?

Absolutely, it’s completely normal to feel nervous! Our team is
here to guide you through the process and make you feel comfortable. As for
pain, everyone’s tolerance is different. Most piercings feel like a quick pinch
followed by some pressure. It’s over before you know it.

Do I need to book an appointment?

You’re welcome to book an appointment to secure your preferred
time or simply walk in when it suits you. For appointments where you may need
advice on placement, or when an appointment is larger, you may be better off
booking in a free consultation so we can ensure appropriate time is taken with
you!

What if I'm late for my appointment?

We understand that delays can happen. If you're running behind, we
will always try our best to accommodate your appointment. If you're going to be
later than 10 minutes after your appointment, we will need to reschedule the
appointment to provide the best and safest possible service for you.

How do you ensure everything is sterile and safe?

We follow strict hygiene and sterilisation protocols, including:

  • Single use sterile needles for every piercing.
  • Medical grade sterilisation equipment.
  • Hospital grade disinfectants.
  • High quality body jewellery.

On top of that, our piercers are fully trained and up to date
within the industry standard and compliance.

Can I bring my own jewellery to be pierced with?

Unfortunately, not. We only pierce with jewellery provided
in-studio. This ensures all jewellery is sterile, high quality, and appropriate
for safe healing. We carefully select the best quality materials designed
specifically for fresh piercings.

What jewellery do you pierce with?

We use high-quality, implant-grade materials that are safe for new
piercings, such as:

  • Implant grade Titanium
  • 14kt Gold
  • V-Gold

Our jewellery is chosen to promote healing and minimise irritation but we also want your new piercings to feel fresh and unique as a result of the high quality material we are able to offer unique designs for your initial piercings.

What is V-Gold?

V-Gold is a process where a thin, durable layer of solid Gold is bonded to our titanium body jewellery in a vacuum. This is a high quality durable finish for all day everyday wear resistant to tarnishing.

What should I do if I’m having issues while healing?

If you experience any concerns during healing, please come into
the studio so we can assess it in person. We aren't doctors, and may advise you
to visit a GP if needed, however we’re always happy to help with advice,
check-ups or jewellery adjustments to make sure everything heals properly.

What should I do to get ready for my piercing?

Make sure you have a legitimate photo ID with you on the day of
your piercing. Before your appointment, you should eat and abstain from alcohol
and illegal substances. Additionally, you should make sure that your attire is
appropriate for the location of the piercing.

How do I take care of my new piercing?

To ensure that your piercing heals properly, we will go over clear
aftercare instructions and take-home instructions with you on the day of the
procedure.

How old do I need to be to get a piercing?

Depending on the type of piercing, different age requirements
apply. For specific requirements and ID policies based on your state or
territory, please call us or stop by our store.

What is the duration of the healing process?

Depending on the piercing, healing times can vary, but they
typically take weeks to several months. Whether you have a piercing or not, it
usually takes your body at least six months to heal completely. We'll give you
thorough aftercare instructions tailored to your piercing on the day.

Can I swap out my piercing jewellery while I'm healing?

We advise against replacing jewellery until your piercing has
completely healed. Sterile downsizes can usually be completed by the eighth
week, though this period may differ from piercing to piercing. It may depend on
how your body recovers for non-sterile items. Usually, this happens after six
months. Come in if you want us to examine the piercing and give you a better
idea of how you're healing. Additionally, we are pleased to help with secure
jewellery exchanges in-store.

What is your refund or Return policy?

We offer exchanges or store credit within 14 days of purchase for
change of mind, with proof of purchase. Items must be returned in original
packaging and in unworn, unused condition. For hygiene reasons, body piercing jewellery, all earrings, and custom jewellery (including permanent jewellery) cannot be returned for change of mind. Sale items are final sale and not
eligible for return or exchange for change of mind.

If an item is damaged or defective, please return it as soon as possible with proof of purchase. In line with Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund depending on whether the issue is major or minor.

All services are non-refundable once completed, however we will
assess any concerns and provide a reasonable solution where appropriate.
Refunds (where applicable) will be issued via the original method of payment.

What is V-Guarantee?

The V-Guarantee covers the quality and craftsmanship of our
jewellery. All pieces are made from implant-grade materials such as 14K solid
Gold and Titanium.

It covers manufacturing faults, including metal defects, PVD coating issues (like fading), and stone settings coming loose under normal wear. If a fault occurs due to workmanship (such as issues with prongs, welding, or threading), we’ll repair or replace the item free of charge.

The V-Guarantee does not cover loss, theft, misuse, accidental
damage, normal wear and tear, third-party alterations, or 925 jewellery.

Parent or guardian requirements?

Parents or guardians must provide proof of guardianship
which include Medicare card, birth certificate or private health.

Shipping Orders

How long is delivery?

Delivery can depend on your your location. Usually standard shipping for metro locations are 3-5 business days. Express for metro will be 1-2 business days.

What should I do if my order is delayed or missing?

When shipping your order your tracking details will be sent via email. Please track your order and follow up with the courier using your tracking details. Please contact us for further support.

Can i return online orders in-store?

No unfortunately online sales cannot be returned in store.
