Gift Cards

 

These Gift Card Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase and use of all physical and digital gift cards issued by Vanilla Piercing & Jewellery.

By purchasing or using a Gift Card, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Redemption

Gift Cards may be redeemed for eligible goods and services at participating Vanilla Piercing & Jewellery locations and/or online, unless otherwise stated.

Gift Cards:

• Cannot be exchanged for cash (except where required by law)

• Cannot be used to purchase additional gift cards

• Cannot be redeemed for cash refunds

If the total purchase amount exceeds the value of the Gift Card, the balance must be paid using an accepted payment method.

2. Partial Redemption & Remaining Balance

Gift Cards may be redeemed in full or in part.

Any unused balance will remain on the Gift Card and may be used for future purchases until the expiry date.

No change will be given.

You can check your Gift Card balance:

• In-store, or

• Online (where applicable)

3. Validity & Expiry

All Gift Cards are valid for 36 months (3 years) from the date of purchase, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

The issue date is shown on the Gift Card or provided electronically at the time of issue.

Expired Gift Cards cannot be redeemed.

4. Purchase & Refunds

Gift Cards:

• Are non-refundable

• Cannot be cancelled once purchased

• Cannot be returned or exchanged

This applies whether the Gift Card is unused, partially used, lost, or stolen, except where required by law.

5. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Cards

Treat Gift Cards like cash.

Lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded.

We are not responsible for any unauthorised use of a Gift Card.

6. Use for Piercing Services

Where Gift Cards are redeemed for piercing services:

• All standard piercing policies apply

• Services are non-refundable once performed

• Age requirements, identification requirements, and consent policies must be met at the time of redemption

• We reserve the right to refuse service where health or safety standards cannot be met

Gift Cards cannot override medical, legal, or safety requirements.

7. Fraud & Misuse

We reserve the right to:

• Cancel a Gift Card if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or unauthorised activity

• Refuse redemption where required to comply with law or protect our business

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where a Gift Card is used to purchase goods or services that have a major failure, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement as provided by law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Gift Card Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version published on our website at the time of purchase or redemption will apply.
